Tonight’s Top 10 Shows: Thursday January 3

Watercooler

Thursday January 3rd

“I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.”  - J.R.R. Tolkien (January 3, 1892 – September 2, 1973)

Mobbed (8PM, FOX; 2 episodes)  Strangers help a woman tell her boyfriend that if they don’t get married, they are breaking up.

I hope one of those strangers isn’t moderately attractive.

The Big Bang Theory (8PM, CBS)  When Sheldon is accused of sexual harassment, he ends up getting Raj, Leonard and Wolowitz in trouble.

It wouldn’t be right if he didn’t share.

Moonshiners (8PM, Discovery)  Tickle goes it alone after his still hand gets spooked and pulls a disappearing act.

That can’t be a real sentence.

2013 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (8:30PM, ESPN)  Kansas State Wildcats vs. Oregon Ducks

Chip Kelly is apparently meeting with the Browns.  It’s gonna be hard to run up the score with that offense so he better take advantage of Oregon while he can.

Person of Interest (9PM, CBS)  Finch goes under cover to protect a youth who reminds him of himself.

The difference between the second season and the seventh season of a show is that the youth would actually be a younger version of himself.

Project Runway All Stars (9PM, Lifetime)  The remaining designers must create outfits for female veterans from different military branches to wear to a special event.

Let’s hope they’re different from the military branches themed Halloween costumes.

The Real Housewives of Miami (9PM, Bravo)  The ladies discuss the cat fights and confrontations of the season.

“Yeye cat fight!”

Four Weddings (9PM, TLC)  Nicole’s guests are treated to a boat cruise around Boston Harbor.

I hope they at least waited until after Halter Top Day.

Elementary (10PM, CBS)  The general manager of a luxury hotel is found dead inside an industrial laundry machine.

Did it get out the blood stains?

Sweet Genius (10PM, Food)  Fruity cereal as a mandatory ingredient

I can’t tell if this guy looks more like a pedophile or Voldemort’s good brother.

I can’t believe Elementary is still on and doing good as they say!

You forgot the premiere of MTV’s “Buckwild” taking on their ‘Jerzday night’ timeslot at 10pm, now that “Jersey Shore is history. It’s basically the same show, but West Virginia stylized. they’ll be drinkin’, mud fightin’, four whellin’ and dump truck pool parties! Yeehah!

W.V. Sen. Joe Manchin demanded that MTV cancel the series, saying it was a travesty “plays to ugly, inaccurate stereotypes about the people of West Virginia.”

I just don’t understand why people love Tolkien so much. I think he’s a wordy bore.
