“I feel sorry for people who don’t drink. When they wake up in the morning, that’s as good as they’re going to feel all day.” - Frank Sinatra (December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998)
The X Factor (8PM, FOX) The finalists perform.
Considering how much I hate the song Call Me Maybe, you’d think I’d be put off by a girl with the first name Carly. I think it has something to do with seeing the face of LA Reid and Simon Cowell if they lose to Britney Spears.
12.12.12 The Concert for Sandy Relief (8PM, AMC, WE, HBO, Showtime, Any Channel You Think It Wouldn’t Be On) Musicians perform at Madison Square Garden to aid Hurricane Sandy victims; with Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen, Roger Waters, The Who, Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones.
Is this a benefit concert or an AARP meeting?
Survivor (8PM, CBS) While aboard a ship and away from their tribe, a few castaways strike a deal.
“Prlala…Pala…Parsnip…Parsley…Parlay! That’s the one.”
Amish Mafia (8PM, Discovery; 2 episodes) Lebanon Levi and his crew hunt down one of their own
I didn’t think Lebanon would be known for it’s Amish population.
Modern Family (9PM, ABC) When Manny and Luke’s Little League team makes it to the playoffs, Claire and Cameron search for a field to use.
Petco Field, CitiField, Fenway Park among others could use a winning team.
Toddlers & Tiaras (9PM, TLC) Ava, 3, Katlyn, 3 and pageant newbie Hailey, 9 compete for the greatest gift of Ultimate Grand Supreme at the Universal Royalty Christmas pageant in Austin, Texas.
As the uncle to a 3 year old niece, the greatest gift to her is when Fresh Beat Band is on. I think these parents can save themselves the trouble of ruining their kids for life and buy an HDTV.
Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 (9:30PM, ABC) The journalist interviews some of 2012′s top newsmakers, including author E.L. James, Gov. Chris Christie, gymnast Gabby Douglas, actor Ben Affleck, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, group One Direction, and writer Seth MacFarlane.
I’m pretty sure Honey Boo Boo is on this list too, which wouldn’t be the biggest travesty in this group of people.
The Challenge (10PM, MTV) The final four teams fight for a spot in the Final Challenge in Namibia.
Probably my favorite part of last episode was watching these people try and figure out what continent Namibia was on.
Top Chef: Seattle (10PM, Bravo) Catering a homecoming party for celebrities for the Elimination Challenge.
Is the special ingredient for all the dishes cocaine?
American Horror Story: Asylum (10PM, FX) Dr. Arden witnesses a miraculous return.
I’ve seen better.

“Is this a benefit concert or an AARP meeting?” – ha ha! And to think, most of these people already seemed old when I was a kid.
Yeah, and early Christmas Present!! Toddlers and Tiaras! Can’t wait for the crazy to unload on the Gasm! Also looking forward to Dear Crabby! Now I have something to look forward to in the middle of the week!
Oh and Cheer Perfection, now that is another trainwreck waiting to happen…
Happy 12/12/12 – there will never have a date like this anymore!
“Paul McCartney will join Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic of Nirvana on stage tonight at the 12-12-12 concert at Madison Square Garden. Does this make any sense? Not particularly, especially after these quotes in the The Guardian by Macca:
“I didn’t really know who they were. They are saying how good it is to be back together. I said: ‘Whoa? You guys haven’t played together for all that time?’
“And somebody whispered to me: ‘That’s Nirvana. You’re Kurt.’ I couldn’t believe it.”"
LOL
thisbuggs – Cheer Perfection is going to be flippin awesome!!!!!
Jalley – LOL about the Challenge! I kept screaming “Africa” to the tv.
Lebanon? So the Amish give their kids horrible names too? It isn’t just the moms on Toddlers and Tiaras. I can’t wait to see what kind of, jumbled up scrabble tiles names we get this season.
Oh there is a Toddlers and Tiara’s best moments on before the new episode! Mr Z will probably be passed out by 7pm again tonight, I know what I am watching!! One can only watch so many re-runs of Big Bang before they know all the words in ever single episode…Although lastnight did have the Bazinga ball pit!
I can’t stand the mom on Cheer Perfection. She is like nails on a chalk board! But yeah, You all know I will be watching it!
Me so Christmas! Me so merry! Toddlers and Tiaras is back, with a “best-of” special (which, of course, means “worst-of”, yay!) to boot! Merry Christmas to me!
