Tonight’s Top 10 Shows: Wednesday October 24

Watercooler

Wednesday October 24

“I am also a writer.  That is a fact not known by the public in general.”  -Bob Kane (October 24, 1915 – November 3, 1998)

MLB World Series (8PM ET, FOX)  San Francisco Giants vs. Detroit Tigers, Game 1

Miguel Cabrera is an awfully odd name for a horse, no? And playing baseball now, you’d never see Affirmed pull a stunt like this.

Arrow (8PM, CW)  When someone kills one of Oliver’s targets, he searches for the person responsible.

So he’s a 12 year old playing Halo or Call of Duty or Counterstrike.  Just complaining about someone stealing his kill.

Survivor (8PM, CBS)  Opposing tribes make an unprecedented move.

Tonight at tribal, let’s vote someone off on the other team’s tribe.  Has anyone tried that before?

Criminal Minds (9PM, CBS)  The BAU team pursues an amateur surgeon who amputates limbs from his victims.

You have to scout him now before he goes pro.

Modern Family (9PM, ABC)  Claire must reign in her enthusiasm for Halloween and keep her celebration kid-friendly

So no slutty pumpkin costumes?  What about slutty ghost costumes?

The Houstons: On Our Own (9PM, Lifetime)  Bobbi Kristina makes an unexpected announcement

Well, we know it’s not going to be that the family is going to let Whitney rest in peace and not whore her name out to get a television show.

Nashville (10PM, ABC)  Rayna learns her family is facing financial ruin.

Probably from “Making it Rayna” too many times at the scrip club.

The Challenge (10PM, MTV)  Alton’s destructive behavior upsets the house and threatens to destroy his team.

It’s called roid rage.  It’s going to happen if you don’t drug test your athletic competitions.

American Horror Story: Asylum (10PM, FX)  An exorcist is called to Briarcliff to help save a troubled farm boy

Pissing like a race horse in the living room isn’t as shocking when it’s a boy and not a girl so I hope the writer’s came up with something special.

South Park (10PM, Comedy Central)  Randy’s big plans for Halloween night keep Stan from trick or treating with his friends.

Did he create a Saw-like maze in his house?  Because that’s been going around.

I don’t understand the appeal of Modern Family. It’s mildly amusing at best (and only when Ty Burrell is speaking). The rest of it is just standard crappy sit-com fare. And I can never get past Sofia Vergara’s yapping/braying. And that awful fat kid! Urg.

Not going to lie – totally tuning into the Houston’s. I smell a train wreck.

Yeh, I don’t get the Modern Family love, either.

Bobbi Kristina looks to be as big a mess as her parents.

I think Manny is hilarious (the awful fat kid). It’s one of the few shows that I actually laugh out loud while watching and press pause so I don’t miss anything.

Is no one recapping AHS? I’ve been waiting for over a week for the recap of the first episode and I’m getting scared it’s not gonna happen :(

Just watched last weeks episode of American Horror Story: Asylum! It’s sick, I love the show!
