Weekend Edition: Saturday September 29th – Sunday September 30th

“I write to understand as much as to be understood.”  -Elie Wiesel (September 30,  1928; age 84)

Sorry for the delay, turns out I heeded too much of my own advice.  Turns out all the good shows are actually on Sunday.  Enjoy your Saturday night.  Let’s get started.

Sunday, September 30

The Amazing Race (8PM, CBS)  One teams act of kindness comes back to bite them.

Will you hold my snake?

Once Upon A Time  (8PM, ABC)  As fairytale characters awaken from Queen Regina’s curse, they are not transported back to their home.

Bitch, you mean I need to walk.

Rehab with Dr. Drew (8PM, VH1)  One of the group has suicidal thoughts.

It’s never the one you want.

Bob’s Burgers (8:30PM, FOX)  A gang of bikers mourning the loss of their leader hang out at Bob’s Burgers.

Let’s hope Bob’s/Archer’s voice can keep this episode upbeat

The Good Wife (9PM, CBS)  A state trooper targets Zach, putting Alicia on the offensive.

Meow, how good is your mother?

Revenge (9PM, ABC)  With the ante even higher after last summer’s events in the Hamptons, Emily must plan her next move.

So she’s gonna get double revenge?

Dexter (9PM, Showtime)  Deb tries to cover up involvement in Travis’ murder.

How else am I supposed to get my killer “brother” to sleep with me?

Boardwalk Empire (9PM, HBO)  Nucky reluctantly joins Margaret to receive a high honor from the church.

This is what I get for getting involved with a religious girl.

Homeland (10PM, Showtime)  Brody learns Nazir may not be happy with a nonviolent approach.

The terrorist may not be happy with a nonviolent approach.  What would give you that idea?

The Mentalist (10PM, CBS)  As Jane tries to determine Lorelei’s connection to Red John, the team and the FBI collaborate on an investigation into the murder of a hotel employee.

Lorelei’s probably Red John’s father.  He advertises it enough.

I’ll be watching Fox’s Animation block, after I watch one of my favorites, Hell on Wheels. Only 2 episodes left

If Deb becomes part of Dexter’s conspiracy, and actually covers up anything that Dexter has done, I will view that as a betrayal of the character (as has been established over the past 6 seasons), and I will be done with this show.

He covered Once Upon a Time, it’s up there with the 3 Little Pigs caption. So many people seem to like this show so I guess I’m going to have to give it a shot.

Oh ok I overlooked it. I got distracted by the pigs. It’s amazing. Start from the beginning though. The writers are so amazing.

I’m with you, Derek. I thought the whole “I’m in love with my adopted brother” was bad enough, but if it was added just so Deb would be complicit in Dexter’s murders, would be one step too far.

But thanks, Jalley, for including Nucky.
