Um, that’s not doing much to dispel that closet-case rumor, buddy. So what’s today’s Elimination Challenge? Welp, Scar reminds everybody for the eleventy-seventeenth time that this is Season Ten of the show, so in honor of them reaching such a round number, they’re going to “take a trip down memory lane” and revisit moments from the past ten seasons….
please please please please please please let this be one of them
Each chef will be assigned a season and have to make a dish related to their moment. The winning dish, in turn, will “inspire” a brand new overpackaged Wealthy Choice frozen appetizer entrée filled with saltwater…
seriously, eating the box would probably be tastier and more nutritious
Wealthy Choice’s involvment also means that the chefs will have to make the dishes into a “healthier version” which pretty much says you can kiss the flavor goodbye. They’ll get 2 hours the following day to cook these tasteless piles of crap for a bunch of “Top Chef SUPERFANS” at some ballroom somewhere. The chef that makes the best dish gets $15,000.00 worth of frozen meals courtesy of Wealthy Choice (which corresponds to about the same number of boxes you see featured in the picture above). To help them out, they each are being given a Spindle Wire that comes pre-loaded with their assigned season and moment. Scar holds on to the moment from Season Ten and says they’ll learn more about it later on.
And immediately the memories come flooding back… Lizzie Borden landed ThumbyHead Stefan’s Season (5 – New York) and her “memorable moment” is Fabio Viviani criticizing Jamie “Turdle” Lauren’s latest scallop creation, whining “Dees eez Top Chayf, eez no Top Scaylope!” I’m a little confused here about what Lizzie’s supposed to be inspired by, because although this moment is supposed to feature Jamie Turdle and scallops, they give FahBeeOh far more face-time…
sooooooo I guess her dish needs to use a lot of oil?
Whatever, at least they didn’t choose that time that Stalker Leah started having sex with Hoser in front of everyone (although, if they had, Lizzie could just make a vomity-looking soup and be done with it, and no one could say a word).
Top Model lucked out and landed Season 8 (All-Stars) and her moment is Carla “Beaker” Hall going on the Jimmy Fallon show and getting to make Chicken Pot Piiiiiiiie…
and freaking out while Jimmy shows Ronda and Juanita (Beaker’s Spirit Guides) what that looks like on a clunky iPhone 1
