Tough Love N.O.: It’s Southern Ho . . . Down!

Greetings Gasmii!

It’s been a week since we checked in on our Bayou bimbos… hopefully they’ve learned a few things in the interim and are ready to face the challenges of overcoming internal barriers to burst free and fall in love. Let’s see what they are up to now…

Our show picks up with Elizabeth after her shouting match with Steve at the last Hot Seat gathering. She is watching Shalana take off her make-up and is complaining about how Steve doesn’t give her enough credit for how hard she’s trying. She tells Shalana she feels like she’s already betrayed her parents.

This girl has got to cut the cord!

Since she’s still upset, the next day, JoAnn stops by to talk to Elizabeth. She tells Elizabeth her own story of marrying the wrong wealthy man to please her parents and how in the end she left him and all his money and took her kids to start life over. Even though her parents cut her off, she eventually found real love and her parent’s came around because they couldn’t stand not being a part of her life. Wow.

What a courageous woman.

I love that her story ends with her finding true love and that now she seeks to help others find true love. JoAnn just gained big points in my book.

Poor Elizabeth.

At least the talk worked, as Elizabeth decides she’ll have to hope her parents come around but for now she will concentrate on her own happiness. I’m not sure her parents deserve this kind of devotion.

Steve has decided that this week, he’s going to establish a base line of appropriate behavior for the girls when they are allowed to let loose. Sounds like a good excuse to film our girls gone wild. But you won’t hear me complaining. The girls are delighted at the idea of being able to bust a move.

Get your freak on!

Despina is really excited, too.
She just doesn’t photograph well.

Danielle tells us that she couldn’t believe how excited she was to be able to touch and see “regular and average” men.

I’m just happy to see Danielle not in orange. She looks nice like this.

So the girls head to a bar appropriately called Bourbon Heat and they are all dressed for a killer night out. They’ve got a VIP section of the club and guess who gets the party started:

Grandma goes old school and shows off her classic Boogie Woogie
Bugle Boy from Company B moves.

Of course, the girls are being watched.

Steve and JoAnn are observing the girls to determine if they will attract the right kind of attention. Think they can do it?

Note: That is Stephanie but that is NOT  Good John.

So for the most part, the answer is no, they can’t really conduct themselves with decorum when there’s loud music, writhing bodies and free booze. Not a terribly big surprise. What is surprising, as JoAnn points out, is that Stephanie can’t even hold good John’s hand, yet she’s macking all over Brandon, the hot anonymous club guy she happened to meet.

Like the typical bad boys she likes, this one is already
searching for his next conquest.

About

Luscious just got back from a one year backpacking trip around the world with her husband (TVgasm fill-in specialist, The Professor). She spends her days writing, knitting and sewing. She's only good at one of those hobbies, not saying which.  Her secret dream is to write romance novels and have critics say her brilliance is wasted on such a pointless genre. Also, she'd like to create a pair of pajamas for her niece where the sleeves actually work.

Elizabeth wants to please her parents so desperately that she can’t even be happy in a relationship with true love.

Can someone explain why Stephanie needed to take it a notch down, but Elizabeth still gets to pancake makeup on her face?

I can’t believe that nobody commented on Donna’s terrible dancing! That was painful to watch.
