Welcome to another Fall at the gasm! As is tradition, a bunch of recappers ganged up on the network previews for the season and had a good laugh mocking shows we know next to nothing about and predicting their futures. Spoiler alert: We’re almost ALWAYS wrong.
Go On, NBC, Sept 11
BlueCanary: Is Matthew Perry thin when he’s on the wagon, or off it? I can’t remember anymore.
Jane&Blanche: Watched it. liked it. However, Matthew Perry has as much of a chance with a success as TO has with the Dolphins.
PearlBlackDragon: Hey look! It’s Chandler being Chandler on a show not called Friends. Seriously. Could he BE any more Chandler?
CannedGinger: What could possibly be funnier than an arrogant sports talk radio blowhard grieving for his tragically deceased wife? Probably anything. Okay, not Animal Practice.
MisRed: I love Matthew Perry. He always looks like he has a wedgie.
Foggywood: There was a really funny short lived Ted Danson comedy on a couple years ago that should collect residuals from this show. Hopefully Matthew Perry will be able to save it with his specialty – equal parts charm and smarm.
Madelyne: Matthew Perry’s forehead may be the funniest part of this show.
Flipit: The song playing throughout this promo is “Feelings”, and I can’t help but get sad that Perry no longer has any in his forehead. Aging is ok, dude! I hate sports, I hate feelings, and I hate every show Perry has been on except Friends. One thing I love? This chick:
Ronnie Karam has been with TVgasm since 2006 , which has given him the opportunity to make fun of hundreds of TV's most loved and hated reality whores. His plan in life was to be Julia Roberts but that plan was stolen by, well, Julia Roberts. He'll get you one day, JULIA ROBERTS!! When not making himself giggle for the gasm, Ronnie performs improv and sketch comedy at IO West in Hollywood a couple of times weekly while using the lovely California days to audition for commercial roles such as "ADORABLE MEXICAN UNCLE". Seriously. He would like to thank Jesus, Buddha and Xenu for the blessings they've bestowed. The writers here are the best around, and he's honored to be associated with them. I love Matthew Perry and will enjoy watching him. I don’t care if it’s Chandler revisited or not. I love him. The rest of the shows reviewed here can get along just fine without me. I don’t plan to tune in to any of them.

You can watch the first episodes of “Ben and Kate” and “The Mindy Project” online right now like they did with New Girl to see if people like them before they air. I loved The Mindy Project based on the pilot – like watching a great romantic comedy a la Bridesmaids and she is totally loveable and real. Ben and Kate I’m a little more skeptical about – it was okay but it doesn’t seem like it has lasting power.

There was something funny happening in Matthew Perry’s mouth, like he was wearing new dentures or veneers?! It was very distracting to me!

Well the hot blonde in Revolution is also a werewolf, so maybe all the mens have seen her eat. I have. It’s not pretty.
