Trailer Trash: TVgasm’s Fall Previews and Psychic Predictions Part 1

Vegas, CBS, Sept 25

BlueCanary: A gritty crime drama, set in Vegas, from the makers of Goodfellas? Sounds great, until you realize it’s on CBS. Enjoy your boobless, profanity-free “sin” city, folks.

Foggywood: I’m not sure if I understand it, but I think I like it.  All the pieces seem like they shouldn’t fit, but I think they do!  What the hell is Dennis Quaid doing here?  At the very least  this should rid our brains of that Josh Duhamel show – blech!

MisRed: CSI meets Hatfield and McCoys.  Dennis Quaid is in it… Cop looking for redemption, mobsters, cowboys?  Sounds like The Village People.

Flipit: So bored with the mob, you guys. This show needs to be about the odd indigents that slap porn flyers in your face on the strip. Are they unionized? There has to be a story there. One that won’t make me feel bad that Dennis Quaid is obvs having trouble paying his mortgage.

PopePhilly: Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis will draw an audience. However, I’m not sure how long CBS can stretch this out seeing as it’s “based on a true story.” Eventually, that true story ended. Granted, it would probably be a good thing for any show to have a set end point.

SG: Trinity, The Thing and General Hawk…and slot machines. Nope.

CannedGinger: CSI meets Walker, Texas Ranger! Actually I’m excited to see a view of the pre-Cirque Vegas. I just wish I could get a coked up Sharon Stone with it.

PearlBlackDragon: Not enough drinking, hookers, or drinking hookers in this one.

Chance of Survival: 68%

About

Currently, Flipit's writing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills recaps, which you can find here. You can also find him doing a gossip segment twice a week called BS of the Day and video recaps of Project Runway All Stars, as well as spoof ReDubs of the coming soon trailers at the end of RHOBH!

Ronnie Karam has been with TVgasm since 2006 , which has given him the opportunity to make fun of hundreds of TV's most loved and hated reality whores. His plan in life was to be Julia Roberts but that plan was stolen by, well, Julia Roberts. He'll get you one day, JULIA ROBERTS!! When not making himself giggle for the gasm, Ronnie performs improv and sketch comedy at IO West in Hollywood a couple of times weekly while using the lovely California days to audition for commercial roles such as "ADORABLE MEXICAN UNCLE". Seriously. He would like to thank Jesus, Buddha and Xenu for the blessings they've bestowed. The writers here are the best around, and he's honored to be associated with them. I love Matthew Perry and will enjoy watching him. I don’t care if it’s Chandler revisited or not. I love him. The rest of the shows reviewed here can get along just fine without me. I don’t plan to tune in to any of them.

You can watch the first episodes of “Ben and Kate” and “The Mindy Project” online right now like they did with New Girl to see if people like them before they air. I loved The Mindy Project based on the pilot – like watching a great romantic comedy a la Bridesmaids and she is totally loveable and real. Ben and Kate I’m a little more skeptical about – it was okay but it doesn’t seem like it has lasting power.

There was something funny happening in Matthew Perry’s mouth, like he was wearing new dentures or veneers?! It was very distracting to me!

Well the hot blonde in Revolution is also a werewolf, so maybe all the mens have seen her eat. I have. It’s not pretty.
