The remaining pirsoners try their best to prove that they weren’t with Sr. Badass on this quest to kill Rick. Mustache is a druggie and Oscar is only guilty of B&E. They’re upset over the death of Big Tiny and wanted Sr. Badass gone. Oscar refuses to beg for his life while Mustache continues to cry and beg.
Gets caught doing a B&E, gets locked up while being locked up, then gets freed only to have this happen. Unluckiest guy on the planet.
Rick and Daryl (because T-Dogg is suddenly missing from this scene) spare Mustache and Oscar. They take them to another cell block where it looks as though the prisoners were systematically shot while handcuffed. I’m not sure who did it – our guys or the guards when the zombies came. Anyway, Oscar finds it screwed up to leave them there with dead people, but Daryl assures them that if they are sickened by this, then they don’t want to know what’s happened outside the prison. Then, Daryl offers his condolences for Big Tiny while T-Dogg suddenly shows only to deliver his 2nd, and sure to be last, line of the evening. He tells them to take the bodies outside and burn them.
Hershel has come back from the dead, but is still comatose. No, he’s not a walker or even a sleeper. Just comatose and still human. Suddenly, his eyes open and we are not out another fan favorite. His girls are obviously relieved and now everyone is goign to have to like OO for having saved his life. Great.
Oh, but she’s not a hero for long. No way. She has to run away after looking at Rick so she can get some undeserved attention.
Outside, Carol is being stalked by something or someone while she tries to figure out a way to perform a C-section.
Meanwhile, OO cries about how she’s a bad wife. Oh, boo hoo. Let’s all feel sorry for the bitch to immediately slept with her thought-to-be-recently-deceased husband’s best friend. Then, she pines to Rick that she was hoping he wanted to talk to her about “us”. He tells her they’re grateful for saving Hershel and bolts. Oh, poor widdle Lori.
Next week, Road Warrior and Andrea find others after a military chopper goes down. We also see a glimpse of Merle and I don’t think it’ll be another Daryl hallucination.
What did y’all think? This was a fairly exiting episode. I’m sad to see that Tiny was wiped out so immediately, but at least we didn’t have to deal with Sr. Badass for too terribly long. He would have been on par with Olive, I think. I’m looking forward to getting some progression on Andrea and Road Warrior. It will also be nice to not really have to see too much of Olive and Carl for an episode or two.
Until next week, Gasmii!
