I've been gone all day on a set visit for It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia so I'm a little late with this, but in case you haven't read yet...Michael Phelps will ALSO be at the VMAs. GEEZ, you win some gold medals and now you're the new pop culture icon! ;-)

All joking aside, Michael Phelps will be at the VMAs presenting along with Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, Ciara, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. DJ AM and Travis Barker will be mixing live drum beats and scratched records for music during the show and collaborating with Katy Perry, T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco, and The Ting Tings. Some other acts that are scheduled to appear are: Rihanna, Pink, T.I., Kid Rock Paramore, Lil' Wayne and the Jonas Brothers. It's going to be one big ego-fest as it always is...but fun to watch. And my hopes are: less Miley and Jonas Bros. and more real music.

I don't have mouth herpes, won't someone kiss me?

I'm actually kind of tired of this whole "Kissed A Girl" phenomenon that Katy Perry has created. I thought it was funny and cute and first, but now it's become old to want to kiss Katy Perry, but MTV doesn't think so. The producers of the VMAs are looking for someone for Katy Perry to kiss...just like the old Madonna/Britney kiss. People are saying they're trying to get Lindsay Lohan, but I doubt she'll do it after all the stuff going on with her Dad. Wonder who it'll be?

NBC is renewing Chuck for a second season, but that's nothing new. The news is that they're guaranteeing 22-full episodes for the new season. I don't understand why?? I'm not the biggest Chuck fan AT ALL. Teri Weinberg, head of development at NBC made the statement, "We couldn't be more excited with the creative direction Josh (Schwartz) and his team are executing on Chuck...This show has really hit its stride and deserves a full-season commitment to carry out the producers' vision for this unique series."

Hope he's right. Maybe they're trying to make Chuck the new Scrubs and that's why they're shoving it down our throats? NEXT...

They just leaked that Christopher Mintz-Plasse aka McLovin will be one of the presenters for the 2008 Video Music Awards on September 7th. I'll be web-casting live from the VMA red carpet, so I hope I get to smell his hair...I mean shake his hand.

Mackenzie Phillips was at LAX this morning getting screened to go on a flight when they found baggies and balloons of cocaine and heroin and then immediately took her into custody. Can somebody please tell the Big Mac Phillips that you can't get through TSA with baggies and balloons of heroin and cocaine??? Sucks to be here, and sucks for her to be off the wagon. The slammer is no place to be at 48 for good publicity. Although, I'm sure she'll post her $10,000 bail and will get off by going to Drew's rehab.

S claims it wasn't weird reuniting with JG at all. She said, "There was almost a comfort in knowing that I was getting to work with somebody who had been on the orig with me and gone through the same experiences....Like, Okay we've totes been through the war together already. I never even gave any thought to it being awks. I know how much I've grown up since then. I would assume that she's grown up the same amount."

S's statement was much nicer than JG's statement to TV Guide last week. JG said, "wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. No bigs." How presh.

Either way, they're getting along and if it wasn't for the two, the new 9-0 would not be getting this much press. DBJ other 9-0 cast members.

The judges are together in New York! All four judges kicked off the New York auditions by walking a red carpet and answering question after question about the new season and adding Kara. Simon said, "It's like, you know, having dinner with three people for seven years, and getting quite bored of each other....So it's having a fourth person, new opinion, I think it's gonna be interesting."

Word on the street is Randy and Simon are going to sit between the two girls...probably to prevent hair pulling.

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have called off their engagement. They've been on-again, off-again since 1992, so who knows if this will be a permanent break. Nicollette's publicist said, "Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement." Glad they announced it was an "amicable" break, I was worried for a second.

This weekend, The CW is going to have 90210 ice cream trucks all over New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago to give out 90210 novelty ice cream bars to promote the show. Rick Haskins, the chief of marketing for the CW said, "The trucks will be decked out in '90210' key art, and they'll be playing the '90210' theme song."

You better believe I'm going to be stalking this truck this weekend...for the ice cream of course.

Virgin America announced yesterday that they're teaming up with HBO to launch an Entourage themed New York-Vegas flight. Those that fly First Class on Virgin America in the month of September will be flying "Entourage Class" and will receive noise canceling head phones, champagne, Godiva chocolates, Kielh's products, Altoids, "Entourage Air" blankets and eye masks. The unveiling of Entourage Air will take place on September 4th. Those that fly before September 7th will get to see an advance screening of the first episode of season 5 on the flight. I get that this whole marketing campaign is for HBO launching on Virgin (and their new route), but wouldn't it suck if they did all this for Entourage and it gets canceled after this season? Either way, I wanna fly on Entourage Air.

This is a bad day for Denise Richards... E! just announced that they're not renewing It's Complicated. I would normally say, "get over it," but I kind of feel bad for her...

Her show gets canceled and Charlie and Brooke announce a baby on the way all in one week...it's just now getting "complicated" for Denise.

Please stay away from taking a bath with your hair dryer.

I'm not sure if this is the real version of Heidi Montag's new music video because it's all out of sync, and it looks like crap, but then again knowing her and Spencer it probably is the official version. Either way, this is what's been sent to me, and it's the worst thing I've ever seen. For some reason the music cuts out at 3:50 min. and video continues playing. If this is the real video and Spencer was trying to direct this "artsy," then someone should tell him it's REALLY over. I will never get this hour of my life back. I say hour because that's how long I've been trying to figure out if this is a joke or not and have been searching for another version. Here it is:
