Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Oprah is planning on moving to L.A. when her talk show ends in September of 2011. She wants to do a show "that's smaller and different," on OWN. Nikki Finke reported that Oprah said, "Why would anybody stay in Chicago? It's freezing here, and I have a mansion in Montecito that I haven't been able to enjoy."

I'm indifferent about her announcement since I don't watch her show anymore. The only time I watch her show is if it's being rerun late night when there's nothing else on TV.

At the end of the day...we couldn't expect Oprah to continue...girl needs a break. I'm sure Ellen is stoked about this as this leaves her to be the queen of daytime.

I love Tina Fey so much!!! I know this video has no relevance to anything, but I just love that she has the balls to make fun of NBC at an Ad Council gathering...it's a little inside, but it's funny nonetheless...

TLC has greenlit Mall Cops: Mall Of America. Yup, you guessed it, this new show is going to follow Segway riding mall cops in the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn.

I assume it's going to be a MUCH softer version of COPS--You know, dealing with shoplifters instead of house robberies, to people slipping on mall tiles.

Mall Cops is set to premiere next year. I know this sounds lame, but I'm actually a little intrigued by it.

Yesterday NBC announced part of its January schedule. Chuck is officially coming back on January 10th with back-to-back episodes...then it will move to its regular time-slot of 8PM on January 11th, and Hereos will move back to 9PM starting January 11th, but it will have a two-hour season premiere on January 4th.

This all sounds exciting. I hope Heroes doesn't suck this season. I've been over that show for quite some time, I'm hoping they'll win me back this season.

In other related news: I interviewed Scott Krinsky (Jeff) from Chuck last month...so I'll get that posted closer to the premiere date.

Anyway...that's all I have for now.

The Big O is officially ending her talk show on September 9, 2011 so she can focus on her own network. She'll make the official announcement tomorrow on her show. Well, we can't say we didn't see that coming!!!

Jimmy Kimmel had a funny bit about Cloris Leachman doing her own version of Cougar Town, Saber-Tooth Tiger Town. It's pretty funny, but I have to say minute 1:35 totally grossed me out...but the payoff was well worth it.

America, we've come to a very confusing place when I can't tell which of these two is gay. One squeals like a pig in pretty much every sentence, and one looks like Clay Aiken and squeals like a smaller pig every sentence. Where have all the cowboys gone? Who cares? NBC just ordered a reality culinary competition show, United Plates of America from The Magical Elves (producers of Top Chef). In a nutshell, here's the show's format: A group of restauranteurs compete to try to impress a panel of wealthy investors. The winner gets his or her own restaurant chain in four U.S. locations. That's HUGE!!!

Executive producer, Dan Cutforth told the Hollywood Reporter, "It's a culinary competition that anybody can take part in...All you need is a great idea for a restaurant."

I don't have any casting info yet...but if and when I do, I will be sure to post!

I used to love Will so much, but he hasn't been on the top of my comedy list these days. Side note: Want to know what comedy star I can't stand? Seth Rogan (btw, he didn't make the list).

VH1 is bringing back Scream Queens. If you didn't see the first season, here's how the show is broken down: 10 actresses are put through horror film bootcamp, and week by week they widdle the cast down by process of elimination until there is a winner. The winner wins a part in Saw 3D--yes, the format is exactly like every other elimination show on the air right now.

Scream Queens isn't actually THAT bad (it's actually kind of funny), but I'm surprised they brought it back. I wonder what other shows they're forced to bring back to fill their new non-trashy mandate?

Scream Queens 2 is set to premiere sometime next year.

I'm coming to The Middle

Brooke Shields is making her TV comeback on ABC's The Middle. Brooke will be playing Patricia Heaton's nemesis on the show. I'm going to sound like a bad Gasmii right now, but I'm admitting that I've NEVER watched The Middle.

Does anyone watch The Middle? Am I missing out?
