Yesterday NBC announced part of its January schedule. Chuck is officially coming back on January 10th with back-to-back episodes...then it will move to its regular time-slot of 8PM on January 11th, and Hereos will move back to 9PM starting January 11th, but it will have a two-hour season premiere on January 4th.

This all sounds exciting. I hope Heroes doesn't suck this season. I've been over that show for quite some time, I'm hoping they'll win me back this season.

In other related news: I interviewed Scott Krinsky (Jeff) from Chuck last month...so I'll get that posted closer to the premiere date.

The Big O is officially ending her talk show on September 9, 2011 so she can focus on her own network. She'll make the official announcement tomorrow on her show. Well, we can't say we didn't see that coming!!!

NBC just ordered a reality culinary competition show, United Plates of America from The Magical Elves (producers of Top Chef). In a nutshell, here's the show's format: A group of restauranteurs compete to try to impress a panel of wealthy investors. The winner gets his or her own restaurant chain in four U.S. locations. That's HUGE!!!

Executive producer, Dan Cutforth told the Hollywood Reporter, "It's a culinary competition that anybody can take part in...All you need is a great idea for a restaurant."

I don't have any casting info yet...but if and when I do, I will be sure to post!

OMG, I kind of LOVE this list. Forbes compiled a list of Hollywood's Most Overpaid Stars. Want to know who was on top??? Will Ferrell. Poor dude!!! I used to love Will so much, but he hasn't been on the top of my comedy list these days. Side note: Want to know what comedy star I can't stand? Seth Rogan (btw, he didn't make the list).

Brooke Shields is making her TV comeback on ABC's The Middle. Brooke will be playing Patricia Heaton's nemesis on the show. I'm going to sound like a bad Gasmii right now, but I'm admitting that I've NEVER watched The Middle.

Does anyone watch The Middle? Am I missing out?

Primetime is once again dominated by CBS with 12 shows on the "Top Twenty" list for the week of Nov. 9-15. Doesn't anyone ever change the channel? Check it out & I also have the most popular shows on our DVR's.......

NBC's Sunday Night Football is still #1. With 22 million people tuning in, the Indianapolis Colts came back from what looked like a dismal defeat to beat the New England Patriots 35-34, for one of NFL's biggest comeback victories! It was awesome! I have to admit though that Tennessee Titan's owner, Bud Adams, letting the Buffalo Bills fans know that his team is #1 with a gesture, was a victory for old men everywhere!

The CSI Trilogy was also a ratings success. CSI: Miami came in at #13 with the least amount of viewers, followed by CSI: NY at #11. The mother CSI wrapped things up & made the #4 spot. The only FOX show to make the list was House at #15.

We all love our DVR's! I couldn't survive without mine. As you can see by the list, many more NBC shows are recorded for later viewing. When do we watch these shows? Well, it seems that reality shows are usually watched the same night the are recorded. People don't like to get "spoilers" the next day if they haven't seen the outcome of their favorite show so they make sure they watch it before they go to bed.

As for cable networks, things are pretty much the same there too. ESPN's Monday Night Football is still #1, with 16 million tuning in for the Steelers/Broncos game. The rest of the "Top Ten" list is dominated, as usual, by children's programming. WWE Monday Night RAW on USA, came in at #9. Monk brought up the rear at #10. The new drama, White Collar, also on USA, just missed the mark, at #11.

I took the red-eye to New York last night and used up my nap time this morning to watch The Today Show unveil Johnny Depp as People's Sexist Man Alive. Now, the reason I'm complaining about missing my nap time is because I'm a little disappointed (I should have taken that hour to sleep). I LOVE Johnny Depp, but is he the SEXIEST?? Well, maybe against his contenders...but not really. I know that most were hoping for Robert Pattison--but I'm not into Vampires...Personally, I would have chosen Bradley Cooper, or Jerry O'Connell...

Anyway, I'm not totally disappointed, because I do find Johnny sexy...but they could have done better.

Jason Lee is starring in a new pilot for TNT called Delta Blues. The show will be about a Memphis police officer who lives with his mom and moonlights as an Elvis impersonator. The show came to TNT via George Clooney, and Grant Helov's Smokehouse Pictures, and Warner Horizon Television. And, the director attached? The Shield's director Clark Johnson.

Um, I don't think I've named dropped so many big names for a cable TV show in a newsgasm to this day.

I'm going to assume that this pilot is going to kick ass considering the people attached to it.

-Michael Jackson's This Is It will air on MTV in 2011...by then people won't care.

-Al Roker took the high road. I HATE Heidi and Spencer. HATE.

-MacGruber coming to the big screen.

-Tila Tequila is suing. She'll do anything to get a quick buck. What's next, a sex change?
