Radar online is reporting that it's going to cost fans $25.00 to attend Michael Jackson's funeral at The Staples Center. The funeral is going to be more of a concert-like event with speakers and videos, rather than a real funeral...and want to know the parting gift for the attendees? A T-shirt that reads, "This Is It".

Wow. I think it's horrible to charge for a funeral, but then again, it is Michael Jackson and it is the Staples Center...and honestly, if I had extra time on my hands, I would pay to go...shoot me for saying that, but I would.

I wonder if his body will be at the event?

Katie Holmes long awaited SYTYCD episode will finally air on July 23rd. She'll be doing a song and dance tribute to Judy Garland. Nigel Lythgoe commented about Tom and Suri being on the side lines supporting Katie. He said, "It was great to see the sort of family bond...It was beautiful to see!"

Tranlation: It was so great to see that Tom had let Katie out of her bondage for an hour...she's actually really beautiful.

Remember the crying Sanjaya lover, Ashley Ferl? The one that broke down in tears after watching Sanjaya on Idol? Well, she was finally old enough to audition for Idol, and the poor little girl got rejected at the Rose Bowl auditions in Pasadena.

Poor thing..I'm sure they'll show her on the rejects reel...but I thought it was pretty funny. I wonder if she broke down when she got the boot? I can't wait to see Simon's reaction, "So...you're crying girl...WHY?"

There is no public viewing of Michael's body scheduled at Neverland Ranch as of now. I'm indifferent on this either way. To be perfectly honest, I didn't even want to see a public viewing of him when he was alive, well...unless he had his hat tipped down low. It's not that I didn't want to watch him sing and dance (I did)...but his poor face scared me.

The NY Daily News wrote an article on what the Weed's stars smoke when they're on set--it's herbal tobacco. The executive producer of the show said, “According to them (the actors), it gets them higher than regular marijuana...They end up smoking so much of it they get very lightheaded, and they don’t like it. Sometimes they do take after take, and you will see them getting woozy because it has a strange effect on them. But it’s totally legal, and it is what we are supposed to use.”

I could only imagine tobacco getting them light headed smoking it take after take I've smoked herbal tobacco in a hookkah a few times, and was so damn dizzy (not a good dizzy) and vowed to never go to a hookkah bar again. Honestly, I'd almost rather smoke real weed.

In the article it also said that Weeds used baby laxatives in an episode instead of Cocaine. Really? Baby Laxatives? I guess that's more mild than real laxatives in your nose? What is the logic behind that? Purging snot? I guess real cocaine and baby laxatives could both potentially cause nose bleeds, so maybe it is like the real thing.

Hung premiered big for HBO. 2.3 million viewers watched, making it the most watched premiere for HBO in two years. Pretty damn impressive!

I didn't get to see it until last night, so I'm a day late on my thoughts...but here they go:
I didn't love the show. The acting was great, but in all...it was too long. I am going to give it a few more episodes because I don't think I can fairly judge the series based on what I saw. I learned that lesson with True Blood--I hated the first two episodes, but then got hooked at episode 3 of season one. So, Hung--not so great, but at least it has my attention for now.

Sounds like a horrible idea to me, but if you want to go to the public viewing of Michael Jackson's body...it will take place this Friday at Neverland Ranch.
