What goes around comes around. Hours after Simon Cowell urges Ryan Seacrest to "come out," and we show a clip of Ryan flirting with Anderson Cooper, we learn that Anderson is getting his chance to hit on-- or take a hit out on-- Simon Cowell.
The Coop will front a 60 Minutes Simon Cowell profile on Sunday night. And he'll "turn the tables" by having a panel of judges critique Simon's performance.
What? You expected the Mike Wallace-Nathan Thurm treatment?
CBS says Simon will talk about "the criticism he's received from the music industry, his wealth and value to Sony/BMG, the recording company he works for, and the appeal of American Idol." Simon also says that "everything should be shown on TV," and "public executions would have no ads but sponsorship."

Is Anderson Cooper out of the closet? I've known he was gay for years and years (although I can't remember how I found out), but I wasn't sure if he was open about it, or was just one of those who live life as gay but doesn't really say much about it one way or the other until asked directly (like Doogie Howser or TR Knight).
