Kevin Eubanks of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was named sexiest male vegetarian, but that win is a popularity contest goof promoted on the Leno show. It's a bit more controversial and could be trickier for Carrie, being a country music star with a cattle country constituency who once posed for a "Got Milk?" ad.
Perhaps remembering that kd lang's anti-beef beef basically ended her country music career, Carrie is careful to say she wouldn't think of foisting her healthy veggie-eating ways on the artery-clogged, burger-belching, fat ass fans she's seen every time she's looked out from the concert stage since Idol:
"I don't go preaching to people that, 'oh you don't need to be eating meat,' because I don't like people preaching to me, I'm not going to preach to them. Everybody else can eat whatever they feel like eating if that makes them happy."
Yeah, why use your position to preach healthy habits? Spoken like a true Idol.
The couple beat out runners-up Joaquin Phoenix, Kristen Bell Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell, Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes, Jared Leto and Lisa Edelstein from House.

The got milk ad isn't controversial at all. It's vegans that can't consume any animal products, vegetarians simply don't eat meat, so vegetarians can drink milk or eat cheese or whatever w/o causing controversy.

Not to mention you think eating meat is an unhealthy habit? As far as I know, human beings are omnivores...
