Well now, an expert weighs in and says that yes, Jordin is huge.

People magazine reports that Jordin was 5'10" and a size 12 by the time she entered junior high school, and would hunch, wear oversize clothing and search in vain for her size at teen mall stores.
"I stood out everywhere," Jordin says, "I'd look at my friends who were just naturally tiny, and maybe they weren't even a size 2, but they were smaller than me and that was good enough. I was like, 'Oh, why can't I look like that?' "
Jordin says she tried dieting every now and then, but failed because, "I like food too much to do it. I would try, like, 'Hey I'm going to diet and I'll be a size 8 by the end of the summer,' but it never worked out."
So that should help her get a nice McDonald's endorsement deal.
Moving on to her chubby fingers--and the ring on the ring finger of her left hand that the supposedly-unwed teenager sported through the Idol competition. No, she's not secretly married to R. Kelly. It turns out that Jordin, the teenage anti-abortion advocate, sports a purity ring--or "chastity ring."
The ring originated among Christian-affiliated sexual abstinence groups and is sold to adolescents, or to parents so that they may be given to their adolescent children as gifts.
It is intended that wearing a purity ring be accompanied by a religious vow to practice celibacy until marriage (Sorry, Sanjaya).
Keep an eye on that Jordin. It will be interesting to see how this squeaky clean virginal Christian Idol will use her influence. She just might shape up into the new Anita Bryant.

If I wasn't familiar with the crap you have posted on this site since you made your unwelcome arrival here at TVGasm, I would be appalled at the attacks you have launched against this girl. Unfortunately, this is par for the course.
You are so bigoted against Christians it's incredible, and I'm not even speaking as one. She has a purity ring? Good for her. Nice to know a high school kid who is actually bucking "the norm." And we all thought Blake was the rebel.
And the "fat" comments are small minded and cruel. (BTW...5'10" and a size 12? Not exactly taking up two seats on the airplane there). Jordin is a beautiful girl with a fantastic voice and I believe she'll be very successful.

If a woman doesn't want to have sex--that is her choice. How much more pro-woman can Jordin get?
I so agree with SharonLois&Bram--size 12 isn't fat, obese or any other euphamism for being overweight.
Or isn't a woman's size her choice too?
