The true American Idol, Sanjaya Malakar (though producers were pushing the offensiveness border in comparing him to Martin Luther King and Gandhi in Wednesday's finale) returns to let us know he's the real thing. His artsy communique earlier this week, claiming that "Sanjaya" was actually the creation of graduate student Bill Vendall, was all a gag! Ha! ha!
If you ask us, the real news is that Sanjaya's working with Will Ferrell. Both videos come from Big Willie's Funny or Die site.

What a silly but funny clip (the arty original one). But who the hell was the blonde POSEUR in the background, smirking and ostentatiously waving around a lit cigarette? What a major wanker!!
Sanjaya's all right by me. Let him enjoy his moments in the sun. But lose the bimbo, mate...
