To help promote the CMA's on ABC, TVgasm is offering a CMA prize pack to one of our readers and their viewers.

By my count, thats over a trillion dollars in prizes. . . though math is not my strong suit.

All you have to do to win is tune in to ABC on November 7th at 8/7c and watch the CMA's. I am not a huge fan of awards shows, so after you watch the show instead of emailing me your favorite moment, I want you to email me the bottom 3 moments of the show and why there were bad. The good things will wind up on youtube, but the bad stuff Ill never get to see and that's where you come in. Email me at madeyoulaugh@tvgasm.com, subject line CMA. The Fat One hits the carpet

That Joey Fatone is turning into a regular plus-sized Ryan Seacrest.

The former boy band 'N Sync "fat one" has picked up yet another gig in wake of his Dancing with The Stars reinvention-- this time co-hosting the TV Guide Network's five red-carpet events: the Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys and Screen Actors Guild Awards.

He'll join fellow Dancing contestant and plastic surgery victim Lisa Rinna in the ass-kissing, style-watching duties, beginning with the two-hour red-carpet lead-in to the Primetime Emmy Awards on September 16th.

Fox gives Ryan Seacrest the Emmys

Brian Dunkleman, eat your heart out. Ryan Seacrest has been handed another high-profile gig on Fox, hot on the heels of the announcement that the metrosexual softie will be "hosting" the Super Bowl in February.

Ryan (who, as we've pointed out, did an extraordinarily professional and straightforward Dickclarkian job hosting the last season of American Idol) comes the announcement that he'll take over as host of the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards next month (thankfully, somewhere in between, the next season of Idol and New Year's Rockin' Eve will bridge the Fox-without-Seacrest gap.

But what a choice. Traditionally, the Emmy host is someone with comedic experience who can launch the show with a brisk monolgue, make fun of a few folks in the crowd and keep the show moving with funny bits.

Ry-Ry had better hope that Simon Cowell is in the first couple of rows so he can point out his manboobs.

MTV 's Video Music Award nominees

Big surprise: Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake lead the pack in the MTV Video Music Award nominations, with seven each. Video of the year. Male artist of the year. Female artist of the year. Etc. Us? We like those crazy drunk girls from England.

TV critics award their favorites

The TV Critics Association Awards last night wrapped up a week of dog-and-pony-show previews by network suits with an awards cereminy that honored Mary Tyler Moore for career achievement-- and gave consolation prizes to some of those snubbed in the Emmy nominations.

Friday Night Lights, the struggling drama that NBC wants everyone to like, wasn't troubled by an Emmy nom Thursday morning, but the TV critics voted it best new drama.
