Feet Are Low in Points

Picture 2-7

Breitbart Jillian Michaels has always been a charmer. She quit Biggest Loser because she claimed that she was edited to look like an a hole. Then she got her own radio show and every week (yes, I listen occasionally) comes on air and is as fakey nice as she can possibly be. Then she got back on Biggest Loser and though she receives a softer edit these days, still an a hole. Unfortunately, if you have a bit of a hole in you, it will shine through no matter what you do. Trust me. I know from experience. Even when I'm smiling and nodding and making eye contact people think I'm being rude and sarcastic. And they're right.

Point is, once an a hole, always an a hole. Jillian did an interview recently about Biggest Loser and was caught on mic saying "A normal person, I could be like, 'Warm up five minutes.' You'd be like, 'OK.' These people are half-dead. I mean, it's not the same... They are 400 ... pounds! Hello! They are not just going to get on the treadmill and run. It doesn't work that way." Ok we get that a 400 pound person shouldn't just start running on the treadmill, but calling them half dead when fat people are the ones lining your fridge with baby carrots is just wrong. And when did being 400 pounds become "half dead" instead of "half full?" The times, they are a changin'. Check out the video here.

NBC marks 9/11 with 'The Biggest Loser.' Nice.

NBC is commemorating the sixth anniversary of the September 11th attacks with The Biggest Loser! Didn't we already see that gag on 30 Rock? Guess not, because it's true. Though the stunt sounds like some kind of wiseguy liberal Hollywood statement, NBC's new programming boss and legendary party animal Ben Silverman is running a two hour fourth-season premiere (what do you bet they do triage with a "very special" Dateline at 10?) at 8 pm on that most solemn of evenings-- even though it hits a few days before the Nielsen-approved official start of the fall season.

NBC also plans a "Where Are They Now?" special for September 4th. No, it's not about the whereabouts of bin Laden and his gang. It features past contestants and how they've done since their time on the show.

And speaking of biggest losers...

Caroline Rhea loses The Biggest Loser

rhea.jpgsweeney.jpgShe's hosted the show for three seasons, but this morning Caroline Rhea wins the title of The Biggest Loser, as NBC replaces her with a younger, sleeker model.

Producers announced today that soap actress Alison Sweeney, a blonde beauty who's conquered her battle with the bulge, will take over in the fourth season.

Caroline, who could often be confused with contestants on the weight-loss contest, has hosted since its debut. Producers say she's leaving to "to pursue other interests." They also admit they're looking for a younger demographic and hope Alison can give them one.

Though she's played bad girl Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives, Alison's only 30. And she's got a good back story--no pun intended. In the 90s, she struggled with her weight and grew to a size 12 dress size-- not Kirstie Alley standards, but larger than your typical TV actress. In 2004, she cashed in and wrote all about it in a book called All The Days of My Life (So Far). (Reality TV fans may also remember Alison for her appearance on a celebrity episode of Fear Factor. She panicked inside a coffin filled with large flatworms, Madagascar hissing cockroaches and millipedes.)

What else does she have going for her? The show's executive producer says Alison has not only a fresh face, but "a HUGE...
