CBS announced that the divalike Mandy will show up on the October 3rd episode to provide closure for his character, the FBI analyst Jason Gideon, who is suddenly disappearing from the series because Mandy decided last month to simply not show up for work on the first day of the third season without telling anyone why-- stopping production, throwing the storylines into disarray and generally pissing off everyone he worked with.
Michael Ausiello at TV Guide says Mandy will basically be the only person in his kiss-off scene-- because none of the other actors want to work with him-- and with a special crew, because the regular Criminal team doesn't want to be on the set with him.
As we told you earlier this week, Joe Mantegna will be stepping in as Mandys replacement in Season Three.
Everybody hates Mandy!
