Speaking of Sacha Baron Cohen... video of one of his earliest television performances is floating around today. It's long before Borat, before Ali G, before Bruno... before he was trying to be funny...
Baron Cohen made reference to these early TV appearances in his recent, very revealing interview in Rolling Stone, and ever since, the search has been on. On this one, he's hosting a cable show called Pump TV, dated December 15, 1995. The 24-year old introduces a band called Moonbot, then returns after the music, playing it as straight as he can in an outfit that would make his character Bruno proud-- or jealous.
