Did you know that Dancing With the Stars and American Idol are broadcast from adjoining studios at CBS Television City in Hollywood? Well, the competing shows are taking notice of one another.

Idol judge Randy Jackson, who gets lots of mouth time on the show this season, is quoted by London's Female First website as saying he's been watching one-legged "charity campaigner" and former porn model Heather Mills perform using various special prosthetics. Which led to a brainstorm:

"I was thinking since Heather Mills wears different legs, I'm going to wear different wigs. I saw her on Dancing with the Stars and thought maybe she (could) support the homeboys and wear a black leg."

Get that? Randy supposedly says he wants Heather Mills to wear a black prosthetic leg as a way to support the homeboys.

Then there's Dancing host Tom Bergeron, whose dressing room is across the hall from Paula Adbul's. He gave a hometown (Boston) reporter his prediction of who'll land in Dancing's Top Four.

But is Heather's leg among them?
