On Christmas, remember 1-800-SUICIDE

Planning to be alone on Christmas? Don't feel like going out to catch the December 25th premiere of the Weinstein Company's bloody slasher pic, Black Christmas?

Well, let this be a warning if you happen to be sitting in front of the TV set and tune in NBC: Two all-new, back-to-back Christmas episodes of Deal or No Deal with Howie Mandel and Big Bird, followed by Bob Saget with a Twelve Days of Christmas-themed version of 1 vs. 100.

And Danny Bonaduce.

If the prospect doesn't have you reaching for the whiskey or a gun, it could be sort of fun.

In the special two-hour Deal that starts at eight, NBC promises that germophobic host Howie "will descend from a sleigh onto a decked-out stage complete with a decorated tree, presents, candy canes and snow. The models are in fur-trimmed red velvet holiday dresses and will even attempt to draw out the Banker with their caroling." The players include Santa Claus, and for some reason there will be a surprise appearance by Big Bird from Sesame Street.

Then comes the 12 Days of Christmas episode of 1 vs 100 (10-11 p.m. ET) with holiday-themed questions. The hundred-strong Christmas mob includes Santa, elves, and the 12 Days of Christmas-- including 12 members of the University of Southern California marching band, 11 plumbers, 10 male ballet dancers, nine exotic female dancers, eight farmer's wives, seven members of a swim team, six pregnant women, five boxers, four men named "Bird," three French chefs, two dove hunters and Danny Bonaduce as the "partridge in a pear tree."

Hey, at least it's not airing on Christmas Eve...
