For now, the hard-hitting, hip--and respectable-- Canadian teen soap will be giving a big push to alt rockers and Warped vets Taking Back Sunday, with an appearance, musical showcase and episode named for one of its songs. Hey, this is up there with the Beach Boys appearing on Full House.
What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost? is the tune-- and the episode in whichDeGrassi bad boy muso Craig Manning joins the band for one-night gig and then goes on a supernova rock star bender. Complications and growing up ensue. The band will also be featured in one of the Degrassi Mini online webisodes.
The episode premieres Friday, January 12th on Nickelodeon's The N network. And while we're at it: they've got to do something about that name. Every time we hear "The N," we think of Michael Richards, and that ain't good.
