Sunday Night Right: Fox News' comedy series

Here's a clip from the pilot of the Fox News Channel's new "right-wing comedy series." The format of The 1/2 Hour News Hour is a lot like Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update (except the comics playing the newsreaders don't seem to think they're so damn cute), and the presentation's derivative of The Colbert Report and The Daily Show-- but that's the idea, isn't it? Possibly to help viewers identify the show as entertainment and not another biased Fox News show, it will be taped before a studio audience in Los Angeles, with two "anchors": actors Kurt Long (Cuts, Games Across America) and Susan Yeagley (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Reno 911!). Except for the politics and two hosts, the show should look pretty familiar, with street interviews and correspondent reports.
