Clipgasm: Jeopardy!'s history-making finale

The publicists for Jeopardy! teased us all week with the promise that on "Friday, March 16th, 2007 ... and for the first time in 23 years... Jeopardy! history will be made."

They weren't kidding. Watch it above.

The show ended with its first-ever three-way tie.

Not the kind of history-making three-way we had in mind, but the Jeopardy! folks say, "It was such a remarkable event we consulted a game theory expert, and he said it may never happen again!"

That's really interesting.

Basically the guy on camera left engineered it to have the other two come back (presuming they'd double their money if they won) by only betting as much as the maximum the others could win.

He already knows he's a stronger player than they are. Very cluey.
