They're announcing today at the TV Critics meeting that they've signed the homophobic slurrer who got the boot from Grey's Anatomy over at ABC last month, to a development deal to star in a potential action drama he pitched to the network for the 2008-09 TV season.
He'll also be a guest star on the bad-buzzing Bionic Woman.
Isaiah has signed on for at least five episodes of Bionic, playing a mysterious outsider who may help superpowered Jaime-- or not.
The whole shebang is the first big move by Silverman, the reported pot-loving partier who's not only NBC's new co-chairman, but also executive producer of The Office and Ugly Betty.
Sez Ben of Isaiah: "He's a totally awesome actor! He did a great job for Grey's and he's got a fan base."
As for the faggot episode: "He's put that behind him. Let's give him a chance to do what he does."
