The Ghost of TV Future: What's new?

A whole bunch of new shows have been announced by various networks in the last 12 hours. And for some reason, they all seem a little... familiar? See if you agree.

ABC is developing a pilot called Pushing Daisies, about a guy who can touch dead bodies and bring them back to life.

TNT has ordered Heartland, starring Treat Williams as a cardiac surgeon.

TNT's also got Grace, with Holly Hunter as a cop who talks with an angel.

Fox has a comedy they're now calling The Return of Jezebel James, about a woman who carries a baby for her much older sister (hint: it's from the creator of Gilmore Girls).

Then there's Sci Fi's Avery House, about a family who moves into a haunted house.

And on the animated front...

Tina Fey's pal from Saturday Night Live, Amy Poehler will play a bee in a cartoon series for Nickelodeon; and Larry The Cable Guy (a Blue Collar Comedy star with Bill Engvall), plays a cable network owner in an animated series on Comedy Central.

Deja vu, anyone?
