CBS is lucky his last line wasn't "Bullsh*t"

Fans of CBS' recently-cancelled Jericho are trying to pull their favorite series back from the black hole by throwing nuts at the network.

They got the idea because the closing line from Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich) in the final episode of the apocalyptic series was "Nuts".

Amid various viral campaigns, some fans began sending packets of nuts to the suits to show them they're "nuts" for canceling the series. And it wasn't long before an enterprise nut company came up with a way to help the cause and cash in at the same time. NutsOnline has set up a Jericho page where people can pay $5 or $10 increments to be part of a massive group shipment of nuts.

At last tally, they were up to 4,889 pounds.

Sez the site:

* shipped 89 lbs on 5/17
* shipped 24 lbs on 5/18
* shipped 1393 lbs on 5/21
(inc. 1000 lbs of group order)
* yet to ship: 3383 lbs

Mr. NutsOnline adds:

"I think it would be amazing to ship 2 tons out today, especially if we find the window closes at some point and CBS starts rejecting the shipments. FYI, as far as we know, the mail room will accept everything, but in the event they do reject, we have placed instructions not to discard these freshly roasted nuts and instead donate to a food bank or to bird/squirrel groups."
