We'd figured Nikki Cox could float-- but wouldn't you know it, she bounces, too. We're still reeling from the news that she was bounced from the cast of NBC's Las Vegas-- and she's already bounced back into a new show.
Nikki's signed to the CBS sitcom pilot, The Stumps of Hollywood. That's the show about two siblings who buy their sister an extreme makeover. Its original title was Fugly. Michael Rapaport is also close to making a deal to join the The Stumps.
And that's bad news for his costars on Fox's The War At Home...

James Caan and Nikki Cox will not be on board for the 2007-2008 season of the ensemble casino fleshfest. Surprisingly, in light of its lowish ratings, breakout star Josh Duhamel is set to give the show another go.

From The "Hey, At Least It's Not Another Death Announcement" Department: Las Vegas may be TV's funniest, swingingest, sexiest dramedy set in Sin City, but it's not safe for single guest stars. First Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas made an appearance and wound up engaged to star Josh Duhamel. Now, it's Nikki Cox, who play's Josh's coworker and childhood confidante and who's dragged another guest star to the altar. People magazine reports she made it official last night with Jay Mohr.
Yes, Jay Mohr, of Last Comic Standing (though he'd probably say "Of Jerry Maguire!"). Strange though, for a Friday night wedding: they didn't get hitched in Vegas.
