'Last Comic' gets a summer booty call
NBC has confirmed that Last Comic Standing will return with an "international version" this summer.
Producers for Season 5 are holding open auditions in Los Angeles on February 26 ("Bring your best two minutes!"), followed by stops in New York, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Tempe. They'll also have casting calls in London, Montreal and Sydney, Australia.
Bill Bellamy--stand-up, former MTV veejay, star of the TV One series, Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes?, and creator of the phrase "booty call"-- is set to host this time around.
The show's talent scouts include former Last Comic contestants Kathleen Madigan, Ant and Alonzo Bodden.
