Big trouble for little TV stars

Not a good week for little people who stand tall in the public eye.

As if it's not bad enough that Barry Bonds called Bob Costas "a little man midget." Now it's been revealed that Matthew Roloff, "Pop" on the TLC reality show Little People, Big World, was busted for DUI last month. The 45-year-old little person was arrested in Washington County, Oregon on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Police claim that they observed Roloff's van swerving on the road, before pulling him over (to be fair, though, it probably doesn't take all that much to get him loaded).

And last Friday, Gary Coleman, the pint-sized star of the 1978-85 sitcom Diff'rent Strokes, was cited for for disorderly conduct in Provo, Utah, just for slamming the steering wheel of his car (was it a minivan?).

He was arguing with a female companion (Go, Arnold!) in a parking lot.

Sez a local cop: "Mr. Coleman was very excited and loud. At one point he exited his vehicle, waving his arms, yelling and screaming. Vehicles were unable to exit the parking lot because of Mr. Coleman's actions."

Hey, wait a minute! Anybody seen Vern Troyer?

"To Be Fair...." Tabloid Baby this is Mr. Roloffs SECOND DUI offense.

Not his first.

Thanks for bringing us half the story.
