The good folks at GLAAD looked at all 4,693 hours of primetime programming on the five major broadcast networks-- ABC, CBS, The CW, FOX, and NBC-- for an entire year beginning June 1, 2006. Ad today it's "out" with its Network Responsibility Index, revealing the "quantity, quality, and diversity of images" of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people on network television.
Each network got two marks: a grade based on GLAAD's findings, and the percentage of primetime hours in which there were LGBT representations.

1. ABC received a Good rating. GLAAD determined 15% of its primetime programming hours included LGBT representations.
2. The CW: Fair, with 12% of its programming hours being LGBT inclusive
3. CBS was Fair, with a mere 9%.
4. NBC, also managed a Fair with a puny 7%.
5. FOX Failed! A teeny tiny 6% of its programming was determined to include LGBT representations.
