Lost 'Day Break' episodes see the light

daybreak.jpgThere were more than a few howls of protest when ABC pulled the plug prematurely on Day Break, the sci fi serial that was supposed to keep Lost fans tuned in during its long, chancy hiatus.

Day Break starred Taye Diggs as a detective who's framed for murder. Due to a "time loop," he lives the same day over and over and tries to find the real killer. The series premiered on November 15 and was cancelled a month later, with six episodes still unseen.

Now, if you were among those left hanging, hang no more.

ABC will put the entire series online, including those six... uh, "lost"... episodes. The streaming will begin January 29, starting with the first episode. Word is ABC would have gotten the show up sooner, but ran into "music clearance" issues.

Waste not...
