TV Land has decided to get into the ranking business by announcing the top one hundred TV catchphrases and quotes. We don't know the order yet, but the cable network has released in alphabetical order all one hundred quotes. Most of the choices are pretty good, but I have to question some ("Denny Crane"?). Of course, as will happen with any major list, there are some glaring omissions (most of which from ABC, oddly enough):
- "Did I do that?" from Urkel (Family Matters)
- "Don't be reediculous!" cousin Balki (Perfect Strangers)
- "Cut It Out," Uncle Joey (Full House)
- "Angela," Tony (Who's The Boss?)
- "Picture It: Sicily 1942," Sophia (Golden Girls)
I feel like there are more overlooked gems out there. The full list is after the jump. After you've read through them, write what you think are the overlooked catchphrases and quotes, and maybe we'll compile our own list in response.

Okay, I'll get the ball rolling. I know I shouldn't hog quotes, but I can't help it!
-"For me to POOP ON!" (Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, "Late Night with Conan O'Brien")
-"Niice." (Borat, "The Ali G Show")
-"Make It Work." (Tim Gunn, "Project Runway")
-"Congratulations. You're still in the running to be America's Next Top Model." (Tyra Banks, "America's Next Top Model")
-"Seacrest Out." (Ryan Seacrest, "American Idol")
Okay, I'll stop, even though I have many more...

Zwicker,
"Live from New York, It's Saturday Night" is a good one.
Also, along the lines of SNL, I also nominate: "In a van down by the river!"

Um, these quotes suck. They left out a lot that I'm sure I'd be able to think of if I compliled a list.
Here's some:
"Your tribe has spoken" - Survivor, Jeff Probst
"He's just not that into you" - Sex and the City
"Save the cheerleader. Save the world" - Heroes
"Next stop, the Twilight Zone" - The Twilight Zone, Rod Serling

Oh, and one more:
"To the moon, Alice!" - The Honeymooners, Ralph Kramden
Seriously, how did they think up a less popular quote for the Honeymooners to put on this list? Amateurs...

Well… this list is terrible. I feel like every one people have listed in the comments is more relevant than 10 actually on the list… but here are my contributions:
“… what happens when people stop being polite, and start being real” – The Real World
“How rude!” – Stephanie Tanner
“I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” – some old ad, but we’ve all heard it.
“Truthiness.” – Steven Colbert
“Go go Gadget arms (or whatever)!” – Inspector Gadget
“But wait! There’s more!” – Every infomercial ever, but originally one for knives
“You like me! You really like me!” – Sally Field
“...And knowing is half the battle” – GI Joe psa’s
"Wilmaaaaaa!" - Fred Flinstone
Ok ok, I’m done

P.S. "Hey you guuuuyyyys" from Electric Company. Children's television is riddled with catch phrases.

HOW, I ask, HOW could they leave out Steve Urkel?!!! That catch phrase was the first one that I ever learned! Not to mention the ones from Full House by Michelle, Stephanie and Uncle Jesse that have been mentioned above.
Also, even though it's a kid's show, what about this one?:
"Care Bears, SHARE!!" and the Care Bear Countdown
Or what about Scooby-Doo?
"Jinkies!" - Velma
"Zoinks!" - Shaggy and of course
"Scooby dooby doo!"
Tsk. What a travesty.

First of all, I created an account to complain about "Live From New York It's Saturday Night." Here is why...
That is the most universal quote, because it is a show that has been watched by all generations...IDIOTS
Also, way to ignore Friends in general. Do the words "Smelly Cat" mean nothing to you?
...or how about "Let's hug it out, bitch."
or how about " "~Jason Waller and/or Alex

I really can't believe they left out so much of SNL. "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night" is a must. But also, what about "We are two wild and crazy guys!" Old yes, but still. Also, all of the Sean Connery on jeopardy quotes: "I'll take the Penis Mightier for $400" or "The Rapists for $200."
This list is seriously disappointing.

Oh man, I'm going to sound like a total idiot when I say this, but it really bothers me when people refer to Joey from Full House as the girls' uncle. He was just Danny's friend.
Anyway, there are some really good ones that people have mentioned that I can't believe were overlooked. My contribution:
"Kissmyass!" Whitney Houston, Being Bobby Brown
