Jesse James' work as a motorcycle customizer won him fame, a hosting gig on Discovery's Monster Garage and even a big-time, top box office Hollywood movie star bride (even though Sandra Bullock ain't exactly Keira Knightley). But now he's learning the high cost of fame. Those ordinary bikes that he pimps out into mind-blowing choppers are costing him a big hunk of change.

The California Air Resources Board officials say their inspectors found that fifty of the monster bikes sold by his West Coast Choppers between 1998 and 2005 didn't have the right emission controls and broke anti-smog laws. They fined him $271,250.

"Sandy?! Babe? Got your checkbook??!!"
