Kathy Griffin gets another season on the D-List

griffin.jpgThere's no punishment for faking it in reality TV land.

Kathy Griffin, who had her estranged husband beat the camera crews to her house every morning so they could pretend to be a couple for her "documentary" "reality" series, My Life on The D-List, is getting picked up for a third season by Bravo.

Well, a mini-season, at least. The Project Runway network has ordered up six episodes to air next year. This follows a lot of off-screen drama since the end of Season Two, including her complaints that Bravo wasn't ordering up a new season quickly enough, word that VH1 might take the show, and the answer to the question: "What kind of straight guy would marry Kathy Griffin?"

...A straight guy who tiptoes around the bedroom in the dark to rob money out of her purse-- and, according the Kathy, steal $72,000 from her bank account.

Unfortunately, none of that drama made it onto the series, either. And it looks like the officially ex-husband won't be back for Season Three (Bravo promises her "wacky" parents will be back, along with a new crew of pals).

Kathy, whose best work can be seen on the Sierra Mist commercials, had filed for divorce in September 2005, but "reconciled" in time for Season Two before finalizing the paperwork last May.
