The Travel Channel only reaches 370,000 homes, but it just sold for $975 million. Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. beat out New Corp. (Fox) and snatched up the network. So, why was the network valued so high? Because of the niche advertising market that advertisers spend dollars on.
Glad that Fox didn't buy it, I'm sure they'd find a way to sneak on re-runs of Temptation Island some how--hey, they did travel to make the show, so it would fit.
Levi is getting way too much attention these days...Anyway, Shatner was back on Conan last night to read Levi's "real" tweets. The real tweets are just as good as the fake...maybe even a little better.
Apparently, I've been living under a rock because I've never seen or heard Shatner's rendition of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. For those of you that live under that same rock, here's the song (BIG THANKS TO ITCHY for turning me on to this):
