High School Musical is coming to network television. ABC has picked up a multi-episode reality competition where they place a group of singers in a musical conservatory until they find one winner. Sounds like Idol, but with all things HSM. And of course the show will have guest appearances by the HSM cast. The prize still hasn't been released yet, but I'm sure it will be the standard: a lump sum of money, an agent and/or manager, and a spot on the next HSM. It's set to air this summer, and I can't wait (don't want to hear it...guilty pleasures).
