A Strike in 2008...not so great

This is good news, and one step closer to a strike-free summer! AFTRA (The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) has reached a tentative deal with the studios on a new three-year contract. One of the major deal points was the fee for content streamed and downloaded over the internet. That's one down and one to go. SAG has yet to reach an agreement, but they are in talks with the studios as we speak. Fingers crossed. One out of two isn't bad for now.
