David Cook won, and it was very sweet when he did. I have to say it was a toss up for me. I was a Cook fan the whole season, but Tuesday night Archuleta got me. The both of them will do just fine, but the 2008 American Idol is David Cook. I was working the A.I. red carpet, and had a lot of fun! I got to meet a lot of the past Idols, but the most exciting person I got to meet was (and don't laugh) Jerry Springer. He was hysterical!!! I got to interview him and the video will be posted tomorrow night. In the meanwhile I will leave you with two things: 1) Congrats David Cook AND 2) A picture of Chris Sligh and I from the carpet (he informed me he doesn't have a perm and never did):
