ABC is piloting a Charlie's Angels remake. Josh Friedman, the writer that adapted the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is writing and executive producing the remake. As much as I hate TV show remakes, I'm actually for this one--only because TV needs a good ass-kicking girl comedy. Plus, they've successfully remade the movie, so the TV version shouldn't be so hard, right?
Cut to: Disaster. :-)

I'm sorry, Nads, did you fail to see Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle a.k.a. the film that logic forgot? I'm all about over-the-top, but that movie was, like, over-over-the-top.
This isn't really a bad idea, per se, but it's frustrating that the networks are going for remakes AGAIN. Seems like the only people with originality are the cable networks these days.

I don't know Hypnotoad, lately I've been hankering for a TV show where a detective in a string bikini breaks in to the bad guy's apartment and searches it. And that one episode of CSI Miami with David Caruso doesn't count.

yeah, i was only thinking of the first one. the sequel sucked hard, but then again, so do most sequels.
i think the remake could be good if it's cast properly.
