When I was working at Lampoon, there was rumor that they'd be remaking Vacation again...and now I'm seeing this ad for HomeAway.com with the Griswolds. I can't imagine they've started shooting the new Vacation film, rather, they could have just got the Vacation rights to shoot this short for the commercial. Either way, here is a quick tease to what seems to be the Griswold's comeback.
Chevy Chase was one of the people that inspired me to get into comedy...it makes me sad to see him so old now. :(
I have an idea for the next Vacation film: Clark and Ellen should take a vacation to Florida to look for a retirement community! It could be the reincarnation of The Golden Girls meets Vacation! Who's with me?

I don't know if the old magic could be recaptured...Vegas Vacation was pretty bad...
