I don't know if you were aware, but Ashton Kutcher was battling CNN to get 1 million followers on Twitter. Guess who won? Ashton! He hit his 1 million follower mark at 2:13AM this morning...and for beating CNN he promised to donate 10,000 mosquito nets to charity for World Malaria Day. I love it, everyone wins! He gets his ego fulfilled, while giving back.

It's amazing how Twitter has become the new "it-girl/boy" on the internet this past year. I'm just waiting for Simon Cowell to jump on the bandwagon after he denounced it, it's really only a matter of time.

On an unrelated note: If you're an Oprah fan, tune-in today as she will be "tweeting" for the first time with Ashton.
