I'm soo over everyone calling Miley a slut. Brooke Shields was nude in pictures when she was 10 (and although her and her mother weren't happy about it) it was deemed as art...and NOW Miley poses nude for Vanity Fair everyone is in an uproar over the Annie Leibovitz picture. I'm not saying what Miley did is right, but I think everyone has blown this up trying to make it into something it's not. Almost like they're trying to create another Lindsay or Britney. NOW, a "source" has gone to ET and claims that Daddy Billy is in an uproar and allegedly did not consent to the pictures:
Our source is adamant that he would never have agreed to that set up and that he only left the photo shoot after his portion was complete that day because he had a prior commitment.
In addition, ET has learned that he was not shown those specific shots before they were selected for publication.
AND, the NY Post said, "They're trying to keep her contained"
Really? Judging by everyone's reaction, you'd think she just got a DUI and robbed a bank. They're just pictures people!

What I don't understand is didn't Miley realize when the pictures were being taken how they would be viewed??? The horse has already left the barn, it's a little late to be shutting the barn door now. She could have just said no, I don't want to pose naked in a sheet. Duh!

How old is this girl? 15? Why would this photographer feel the need to sexualize a girl that young. I don't get it. Its a little disturbing. She of course would think its cool because she's a kid! Its not cool.

She's already made the comment that you don't say No to Annie Leibovitz. I think the young actors live in a bubble and they have so many yes people around that they don't have a real perspective. People always saying don't worry this will be great, You look great in purple hair, wearing a bed sheet is so artsy...I don't know that she knows any better if this is how you live your life in a tv show and you don't go to a real school or have a real life. But maybe we should all leave her alone, we don't need another Britney.

I don't agree with her choice to have the nude pictures taken, but what I am against is everyone's uproar and making it something it's not. Miley has already proven to be a little on the slutty side judging by the pictures she's already released herself (before the Vanity Fair photo shoot), thus, her nude pictures don't surprise me. These stars don't know how to say no, and are so used to everyone making decisions for them it's insane...

I think this is an attempt to "grow her up" in the eyes of the public, with mixed results.
They were all in on it: Billy, Miley, Disney, Vanity Fair, and Annie.
