This past weekend Christina Applegate's rep (Ame Van Iden) announced that Christina has been diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer. Her rep said, "Benefitting from early detection through a doctor-ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening...Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery...No further statement will be issued at this time."
She will resume shooting Samantha Who in the Fall, but for now I hope she has a speedy recovery.

Wish her the best. Nice pic of Christina from her MWC days, reminding us of what made her famous. That's some tank top . . . not hard to spot breast cancer early when you're wearing a top like that. No mammogram necessary.

Upon further scholarly study of that picture (LOL), I think that had to be someone having a little fun with photoshop. I don't think that would get past even Fox's censors. Nads, where did you find that picture?

the picture made me laugh and reminded of her ol' fun days. found it online somewhere. i searched married w/ children and christina applegate. so sad. my friend works on her show and says Christina should be fine as they're set to go back for the fall. it's really sad though...she's only 36!
