Do I Really Need To Write About Phelps Again?

Michael Phelps gold

And he did it! He broke the Olympic Record with his 10th Gold Medal winning the Men's 200-Meter Butterfly, but he didn't stop there, he also won Gold number 11 along with his team in the Men's 4x200m Freestyle Relay. Again, I will say: Congrats!

I am posting this for Pegster because I have no idea IF she posts here EVER...
It was so good in the threads it bears repeating right here right now.....

Michael Phelps is great. Michael Phelps is a phenom. Michael Phelps is going for a record number of golds in a single games!!

Pegster is tired of the Michael Phelpsathon on NBC. As I was getting ready for work today, I swear the Today Show sounded something like this:

"Good Morning from MichaelPhelpsjing, China, where we are broadcasting live from the Michael Phelps Plaza at the 2008 MichaelPhelpsympics!

The weather is overcast, but the Michael Phelps is starting to peek out from behind the clouds!

In news today, Michael Phelps has ordered a cease-fire in Georgia. In national news, we analyze the choices for running mate of Barack ObaMichaelPhelpsma."

And so on.

Nads:

I totally felt like that when I wrote the post. Everything is Phelps everywhere I look. It's insane what he's done, but it is a bit much. It's OVERphelpseration.

But 11 gold medals...geez. if i had that my ego would be to the moon. hehe.

georgiababe:

I hope his ego isn't to the moon - I quite fancy him.

I've always liked very tall (he's 6'4") semi-awkward boys. And sticky outy ears.

The muscles are just a bonus.
