Dancing with the Stars pro, Julianne Hough, is undergoing surgery tomorrow to get her appendix removed. She was rushed to the hospital after the results show last week, and was diagnosed with endometriosis, but will have her appendix removed as a course of treatment.
She announced on the show last night, "I'm actually going into surgery tomorrow to remove my appendix, but everything is OK...I'm going to hopefully be back if everything goes as planned next week."
I never knew that getting your appendix removed would heal endometriosis, but then again I'm not a doctor...
Here's to a speedy recovery Julianne!
**Update** - Her website reads, "Julianne has successfully completed surgery in Los Angeles and is at home resting comfortably." Yay!

I understood that she has an ovarian cyst, which may also be pressing on the appendix.
But even if it is endometriosis, that occurs on the outside of the uterus, and can affect a number of areas in the abdomen.
Hope she feels better soon.
