Eddie Izzard said that he wants to make a film version of The Riches. He told the BBC, "We've had the meeting and the writers are going to go off and slam out a story...We're going to raise money like Barack Obama through the internet, and we're going to shoot it guerilla-style."

It's really too bad that FX canceled The Riches, it was such a good show. The Riches and 30 Days were my biggest cancelation disappointments of this year. I know that FX is doing other great things right now and I'm a big fan of their programming, but the fact that they would put a show like Testees on-air and cancel The Riches, ugh, simply ugh. At least Eddie hasn't given up on it. I'm looking forward to the film.
