Fox has offered Simon Cowell an American Idol contact that would make him the highest-paid TV star, even higher than Oprah. So, I guess his best interest would be to stay on Idol and renew his contract? On top of that he's teaming up with his bestie Sir Philip Green (who owns The Top Shop) to do other TV deals.
